"Well, Amelia? Are you there? Will you continue the love story or not?" Aurora asked in a bored tone as she sighed in exasperation. They had been through hell this past month. But that is a story to be told another time. "Yeah, yeah. I hear you. Well, why don't you ask him yourself when we get out then?" Aurora scoffed, rolling her eyes, she brought out of the back pocket of her black jeans cigarettes, took one out, placed it between her pink lips, and lit it up. "No, ma'am, no need. I have no intention of meeting your husband, thank you." Amelia was getting more and more amused with the girl in front of her.
"Also, look at you. Lying there on the bed, a bullet has just gone through your thigh. Shouldn't you be sleeping or something?" Aurora asked, annoyed. "You are such a sweet girl, my Aurora." Amelia smiled at the young woman, "What can I say, I try my best, hm." They both laughed at that and then Aurora went by the bed and gently placed a blanket over Amelia.
The shed that they lived in was barely holding up and Aurora was scared Amelia would get a cold, but after a month, Amelia was healed, it was Aurora who was overreacting this time, after all, Amelia is a doctor, she knew better. It was time Aurora went to the ring now. Every night she went there with Amelia, but her injury had gotten worse so she had to stay in. Aurora fought in that ring to death, they put her with a bunch of people who had to fight for rich men's entertainment, how do we call it, a dog fight, but with actual humans? Aurora is already injured but she had to go, or else the people here would hurt both her and Amelia. Except that, Aurora was asking around for escape routes and searching by herself, many times she was caught but she has gotten away with it with more fights.
A week later

"Amelia, Amelia woke up. We are leaving." Aurora was pacing the room, gathering the guns and equipment that she needed. Amelia slowly opened her beautiful brown eyes and took a look at the young woman. She was wearing high-waist shorts that hugged her upper thighs like silk and a black leather tank that showed off the bridge of her breasts. Her waist was hanging tight with a leather black belt that had dual pistols, daggers, and sharp equipment on it. In her back leather pockets were two desert eagle, long-ranged guns.
"What is going on, honey?" Amelia rubbed her eyes confused. Aurora stopped in the middle of the room when she heard her voice. The fire was the only light-emitting in the room, except for the sun that came through the windows. The sky was clear of clouds today, it was early morning. "What is going on, Aurora?"
"We are leaving today," Aurora said once more. "How?-" Amelia did not get to finish her obvious question, "I made a plan, I am getting you out. We stayed too many days in here anyway." Aurora sighed, "Aurora." Amelia started talking as she walked toward Aurora. "Promise me that you will get out alive with me." Aurora slowly turned her head towards the older woman, her eyes glimmering in the dim light. "The clothes you should wear are in the bathroom, when you come out, I'll show you how to use a gun, okay?" Amelia shook her head in fear as she nodded and walked slowly toward the small bathroom. Aurora continued getting ready. She opened the case to check on her customized sniper rifle. She once more checked for enough bullets and when she made sure she was okay, she sat down on the sofa, waiting for Amelia.
The older woman, after getting ready, stood in front of the mirror, she watched herself and promised to protect the girl in the other room with her life. She then slowly opened the door of the bathroom. To her surprise, she found Aurora sitting on the sofa, watching the fire as it burned. The girl had sprawled her arms on the couch and had crossed her legs, as if in deep thinking. To the older woman, this girl seemed sophisticated, and hurt, like a little lamb. She knew that that was how her husband was going to see her too.
However hard this girl tried to hide her pain, even from herself, it radiated from her every move. Amelia feared what her husband could do to this girl when he learned the truth, she feared his fury, but she knew that if this girl was meant to be with him, she would get over every obstacle. The problem was if she was willing to be with him at the end of the road. "Aurora, dear," Amelia spoke up gently. It seemed as if her voice woke up Aurora from her trance. "Yes, Amelia?"
"I am ready." she said, "Good, these are dual pistols, they're easy to use, but you may find it hard to reload, try once."
Aurora gave her the guns and watched her with crossed arms as she stood up, and furrowed brows. Why would such a woman need to learn how to use guns? She thought to herself, but then she remembered she had a mafioso husband, she rolled her eyes then, "Good, you know how to use them, there, put on the belt, it has bullets and grenades of many types, we're gonna need them." Aurora helped Amelia get ready. As she did, Amelia looked amazed once again at the girl.
Her concentration was on point, with no fear nor miscalculation in her gaze. But most of all Amelia felt concerned, she didn't want anything happening to the young woman. "See, I know how to use a gun." Amelia smirked, "Yeah, your husband taught you well, huh?" Aurora scoffed, "My husband is a smart man." Amelia bragged, "Yeah, good for you." Aurora scoffed turning away from Amelia, she felt a weird kind of emotion deep in her heart. "I don't understand, that man is weird." Aurora was confused.
"Who, my husband?" Amelia asked with a smile, these were one of the signs she had noticed not long ago. Aurora seemed to be thinking about Ares without wanting or liking it, that was how Amelia knew. "Yes," Aurora answered in a serious tone as she turned once more to face Amelia. She felt very confused and she had only spoken with him over the phone for three minutes. "Why do you say that?" Amelia raised an eyebrow at the young woman, she felt like things were already getting started, but she didn't feel jealous, she felt happiness and content knowing that there was hope for her husband, and also, for this doomed young girl that has been through hell and back.
Yes, Aurora had told everything that had happened to her, to her surprise, it wasn't hard at all, but Amelia was the only one that she had ever opened up to, Aurora felt a connection with her. In the past month, they have become closer, Aurora shook her head as thoughts came to her mind, she didn't like thinking too much, "I don't know, I don't like him, don't let me meet him, I'll shoot him between the eyes, I'm telling you." Aurora scoffed and walked to the kitchen counter to grab her leather coat. "You never know what will happen in life, my dear. Never say never, never say never." Amelia gave a sincere smile, which had Aurora squirming in her place, "What are you talking about again, uh? Let's go, forget about these things, it's not the time."
"Okay, okay, dear. Let's go." Amelia sighed, "Stay behind me and listen to whatever I say okay?" Aurora asked seriously, "Okay, Aurora, my girl. But you have to protect yourself too, okay?" Aurora just gave a firm nod and then opened the door of the shed. Their location was on a mountain, which had castle-like buildings, the same as the one they were chased after.
But getting out of their shed was forbidden, especially at day. There were guards everywhere. Aurora put a hand in front of Amelia, stopping her in her tracks, before signaling for her to be quiet and stay put. Aurora took five stealthy steps toward one of the guards and injected him with a needle before continuing her pace to the other one of their front doors. She then signaled for Amelia to follow her closely, Aurora took Amelia's hand and slowly walked towards the other people's rooms.
"Amelia, we are going to free everyone here after taking down the guards of this place, after I'm going to blow up the place, but to do that, you need to listen to me okay?" Amelia nodded. If Amelia hadn't told Aurora to save everyone, she would've just blown everyone up and escaped this place, but not, Amelia was kind-hearted and Aurora admired her for that, so she listened to her.
They were now behind another shed, Aurora signaled to Amelia to crouch behind the dumpster there, and so she did. After making sure Amelia listened, Aurora, slowly, but steadily, took both guards in front of the shed down. They did this again and again, until the last one, "Amelia, let the people out and tell them where to go, don't forget to tell them to be quiet, or I'll shoot them, do you understand?" Aurora said quietly as she put on her leather gloves, she wasn't going to use needles from now on, now guns and knives were about to be heard and raise hell to this place. More than five hundred people were let out of this place and slowly went down the mountain without notice. "That went... Well..." Aurora tilted her head in confusion, it was the first time helping someone without having to kill anyone, Amelia chuckled knowingly. "You girls need to get out more and meet people, you're going to end up alone."
"That is my goal, lady." Aurora grinned. "Come one, let's continue," Amelia said and Aurora nodded. They followed the path down the mountain road after a while, Aurora looked back and pushed a button in her right hand. A big explosion could be heard from miles away, "A calculated destruction, let's see how they'll deal with it." Aurora's smirk was more than evil, and it disappeared the second she turned around and walked down the mountain with Amelia on her side. Amelia looked at her and her expression was cold now, such that facial and emotional changes couldn't be seen in a normal person, Amelia thought to herself. She smiled and followed Aurora down the mountain.
In a black SUV, three men were discussing how to save Miss Amelia Earhart Rossi. The three brothers were making their plan take place, as serious expressions were painted on their faces. Ares Hayes was very furious, but he kept his composure. These bastards were going to pay for taking away his wife. "What are we going to do if they don't have her here, Brother?" Matteo, the youngest of them, spoke up. "We will find her. I've gathered everything we need, and it has been confirmed that they are here." Andrea reassured everyone, "After all, we have planted two hundred people on this mountain, they won't be able to run even if they wanted to." Andrea continued. "Si."
Ares's voice spoke a promise of death and destruction. Everyone nodded in response as they continued on their way. After that, a big explosion was heard from the top of the mountain, making everyone's gaze snap out to the windows. "Hi, the gas driver! We need to get these as soon as possible." Matteo ordered.
Aurora and Amelia had no idea that more cars had surrounded the place. Nor did they know that the men were sent by Ares, so after noticing, Aurora grabbed Amelia's hand and ushered her behind a tree. "We have company, sister."
"Indeed, little sister, we do." Both looked at each other smiling as if this was going to be easy for them. And it was true that Amelia might be kind-hearted, but when protecting her family, she would go all out, and Aurora was family to her. "My girl, look at me." Amelia started, cupping the younger woman's face, bringing her closer to glance into her deep blue eyes, "Don't be afraid, I know you are very capable, but I am here to protect you, okay? You are my family, my sister, don't forget that, okay?" Amelia said, looking deep into Aurora's glassy eyes that now were filled with unshed tears. "Yes, sister."
Aurora nodded as she gave a tight hug to the older woman. Amelia kissed her younger sister's forehead before continuing on their way. They rushed down the mountain as another explosion was heard, Amelia rolled her eyes at Aurora and she shrugged her shoulders in return. After about ten minutes of running, a black SUV stopped in front of them. Aurora instinctively grabbed Amelia's hand and pushed her behind her. They didn't know that the man looking at the both of them was Ares. The man's eyes looked at his wife's form and immediately felt a relief painting his heart.
But then, he noticed the other woman, who seemed to be younger than his wife, protecting him and he got confused. "Guys, get out and attack them, but don't hurt my wife. I want to see if this girl is a friend or an enemy." Ares ordered quietly, as he licked his lips subconsciously. He had a hunch that this young woman was familiar, very familiar. Five men came out of each car, standing in front of the women.
"Who are you, people?" Amelia started first, tilting her head to watch closely every man. "You should know us, ma'am." the one in the middle said in a firm voice before his eyes darted to Aurora. Aurora turned around slightly and spoke up, "Don't bullshit with them, it's either we live or they do, and believe me when I say, I have no intention of dying before putting a bullet in that man's forehead." she smirked as Aurora's eyebrows shot up in surprise.
Aurora's words could be heard, and the three siblings hiding in the car all looked amused and surprised by this girl. "It seems we found the female version of our brother, Matteo," Andrea said, chuckling now.
