Chapter 11

~The glances of hope~

"Be careful, Aurora!" Amelia yelled after Aurora went out of the car. Aurora closed the door with a thud, making all eyes turn to her, focusing on the blue-eyed beauty. In the early morning, she looked like she had come out of heaven, ready to crush the earth. But in Ares's mind, he knew this girl was buried deep into the nine circles of hell, and now she is ready to bring that exact hell among them, mortals. She glanced one more time inside the car, squinting her eyes in distrust at Ares, which the latter raised an eyebrow, challenging to go on, but it wasn't the time to be fighting an idiot, Aurora thought. She stretched her hands above her head, relaxing for the fight that was about to happen, her bones cracked and her mouth turned into an evil smirk. She then bounced her hands to her sides, casually walking towards the mountain. The men in the car on top of the mountain drove slowly toward her and stopped the car at the edge of the mountain.

After a while of waiting, two of them approached her carefully, one of them had a devilish smirk on his face, they signature one, ew, she thought. "Hello beauty, do we know you?" the tallest spoke up first, his smirk didn't leave his sharp-edged face, as if he already knew what was going on. "Hm... Do you?" Aurora asked, smiling, her right hand casually slid into the back of her waist, and in a second, the tall man had a bullet between his brows, blood oozing out of his face, making Aurora scoff in annoyance. "So much blood, can't you just die quietly, you owe me new clothes, ฮฒฮปฮฌฮบฮฑ." she stomped her foot on his thigh.

Acting like a kid was her favorite thing to do, it made everyone around her angry, and there wasn't an exception for the other man, who stood there motionless for a second, after skillfully pulling his gun out, but Aurora was faster, and shot twice at his thighs, making him fall on his knees in front of her. "Who is this girl?" A voice sounded in the black SUV in the car Amelia was in. Amelia smiled at her youngest brother-in-law, who was now staring at Aurora. "She's Aurora Rune, the fucking Devil herself," Amelia smirked at him knowingly. "Hot damn, sister, you started cursing now, this girl is amazing huh?" "I don't curse, Andrea, I state facts." Amelia winked at him, taking everyone by surprise when she leaned on her seat, closing her eyes, "You watch her closely, maybe you'll learn something from her. Also, she's about to explode the fucking mountain, when she rushes to the car door, you open, or we all die." they agreed and stared out of the windows again.

The man that was on his knees in front of her had now a bloodied face and Aurora was pulling at his hair. From his expression, they could see he was in pain. "Who sent you, boy?" Aurora asked, bringing her knee to his jaw when he sneered at her, "You know, this is getting boring, and I am starting to believe you still being able to breathe is a fucking waste of oxygen, so why don't I just save myself the trouble and..." Aurora spoke up to herself and pointed the gun at his head. "You bitch, who do you think you are!" the man asked, making Aurora tilt her head backward and laugh like a crazy person, until she abruptly stopped, her face all serious now.

"She switched from laughing to glaring, brother. Such skills I haven't seen on anyone else except, well you." Lorenzo is concerned now. The people in the SUV were able to witness the scene in front of them very clearly. "She's honestly as scary as you brother," Andrea spoke up now. "That's why they suit each other," Amelia said, smirking knowingly. "What does that mean?" Andrea asked, but Ares stared at her for a moment, his eyes growing cold and a glare meant for Andrea landed on Aurora's delicate body. Ares knew what Amelia was talking about, but he didn't believe that his wife had found the woman for him, especially in such circumstances.

"Tell me boy, who sent you here?" Aurora's skillful tongue ranged on everyone's ear, suddenly making Ares and his brothers freeze. When they heard the language, which was understood as they had studied many of them as mafia training, they understood that the Russians had sent these people to kidnap his wife.

"How come we didn't think of the Russians?" Andrea scoffed angrily, receiving a harsh glare from both of his elder brothers. "Boy, I know who sent you, I just want to know why. Either way, your people are going down." She laughed sarcastically. "Do you know whose wife you have abducted?" she tuts at the last part, "That man in the car," she pointed at Ares, smirking knowingly. "Do you recognize him? No? I'll tell you the secret then. That man is the Italian Don, the man that cut your Russian heads off just for fun. Imagine what he'd do now that you kidnapped his precious wife." Aurora smirked evilly.

"Oh poor you, I really wouldn't want to be in your place right now." She continued talking, waiting for the right moment to blow them all up, she waited for the cars to come down the mountain before pressing the dooms button. "She knows who you are! How?!" Andrea yelped in excitement, just her figure made shivers run down his spine, well, when his member wasn't screaming at him for other things. "Aurora is a legend, Andrea. The kind you only hear but never meet. She is the female version of Ares. She's ruthless, and unlike Ares's fire, she's the snow that breaks your bones, so cold, she can freeze your body and soul with just one look. Above all, she's a heartless monster in need of love. She seems strong, but, from experience, I can understand the need for a man that can bring her to her knees, making her submit to him, both body and soul. No one has been able to do so, she's the kind of woman who belongs to one man on this earth, and finding him is too hard, as she has already given up, after..." Amelia trailed off, watching Aurora out of the window who had now shot the other man in his head.

"You mean..." Lorenzo looked from Amelia to Ares when the woman nodded, his eyes widened in surprise. "She shot his head without even looking at him! I thought women were supposed to be gentle!" Andrea said, adoration and fear coating his words. Amelia giggled lowly, "I told you, she's the devil in leather black clothes. Honestly, she doesn't wear anything other than black, it's so annoying. These past few weeks I thought I was living with the female version of Ares!" Amelia scoffed in annoyance. "I wouldn't mind being in your place sister." Andrea licked his lips smirking, earning a death glare from Ares, which didn't understand the possessiveness over the girl.

Maybe he was overthinking. Aurora had already waited enough for the cars to come down. A smirk played on her lips when they didn't appear. She started walking towards the car, opening the door, and sliding into the driver's seat. "What are we going to do if they don't appear?" Amelia asked concerned. The Russians had to come out, chasing them, or else the whole plan would go to waste. Amelia wanted to interrogate the people and Aurora just nodded. "Well, I would have to go in there-" Aurora whispered, chewing her gum. "Fuck no!" Amelia snapped her head in Aurora's direction.

"I have no choice, woman, stop hurting my ears, lord." Aurora sounded annoyed, but she was happy someone was concerned about her, even if not showing it. "Don't pull that attitude on me, young woman! It doesn't work, and you're NOT going to a place filled with Russians ready to cut your head off." Amelia said sternly, "But I like Russian dick." Aurora whined looking at Amelia who was now glaring at her. "Aurora, I swear if you say dick one more time!"

"What? You're supposed to be the knowledgeable one." Aurora smirked at Amelia then turned her head and winked at Ares. "After all, that man knockedyou up seven times. Seven fucking times!" Aurora laughed, tears rolling down from the outer corner of her eyes. "I mean, are you an idiot? Couldn't you use a condom or something? Who wants SEVEN kids, my god!" Aurora shivered even at the thought, making an ugly face. Amelia laughed at her reaction."Kids are nice, Aurora, I know how soft-hearted you get around them. Is that why you don't like them?" This old woman always has a way to make me remember shit I don't want to... Thought Aurora. Amelia asked softly, knowing this was a sore subject for Aurora. The latter looked away, frowning, the first emotion the three men had noticed on her face for the first time. "You just need the right man."

"Amelia," Aurora warned in a low tone, glaring at her, making her smile softly, "There's something I haven't told you..." Aurora trailed off, not caring about the other people in the car, she seemed somewhat upset. "What is it?" Amelia asked concerned, then her eyes widened in recognition and she gasped in shock. "Aurora, don't tell me..." Amelia's voice trailed off as she thought about it more. Aurora looked down at her fidgeting hands before whipping all emotion off her face, looking straight ahead of her.

She was sitting, laying her back on the steering wheel, so the three men could easily distinguish her features in the early morning as the sun was rising. "Tubal Ligation." was two words Aurora said, but the meaning was passed to everyone in the car. Amelia sat up on her chair, fuming and glaring at everyone in the car, trying to calm down. "It was them, wasn't it? Did they do it on all the girls? '' Amelia asked, her nails digging into her palms, making blood run down her wrists. "Amelia," Aurora warned once more, the cold stare she gave Amelia, made the latter close her mouth.

Tears ran down Amelia's face as she realized that the girl in front of her had been through the nine circles of hell and came out to be The Devil himself. "It is not time to be emotional, woman. Get your shit together." Aurora looked outside of the window, glaring back at the rising sun, the light making her eyes tear up, but she didn't look away, she focused there, trying to control herself from going crazy.

In the end, she lost the battle and gave in to the only way she knew how to bury her emotions, killing. "I am going in there. If I don't come back in thirty minutes you take this idiot and get the hell out of here." Aurora spoke directly to Ares, as he watched all of her reactions, hearing his wife's words and feeling the pain she exuded from her body, even if not knowing it. "Going in there alone is asking for your death, angellino."

"Maybe I am, Il marito di Amelia" (Amelia's husband) With those words, Aurora went out of the car and walked towards the mountain top with Amelia following right behind her. "Don't follow us until you have a backup with you, Ares." Amelia said to her husband, making him growl in disapproval, "You are not following that maniaco di una, donna, Amelia." (That maniac of a woman) "You said that I had one chance of asking anything from you back then."

Amelia didn't need to say more. Ares didn't have the intention of listening to his wife for long, knowing that the two women would die the second they walked in there alone.
